The Java Developer Connection bug database contains the change requests reported for JAI Image I/O Tools before it was moved to a java.net project in February 2005 as well as issues specific to the web pages which are part of the JAI Home Page tree. Some problems continue to be recorded via this database.
The java.net issue tracker contains issue reports which were filed after JAI Image I/O Tools was moved to java.net as well as some issues which were migrated from the Java Developer Connection bug database. Issues are migrated as they become identified as the most likely targets for being fixed at the next milestone. The content of migrated issue reports will in general initially be only a link back to the Java Developer Connection bug database record.
